The long-standing Bundesliga football club VfL Bochum 1848, a customer of the multi-service provider Klüh since 2015, has once again extended its contract for security services for a further three years. Beforehand, its security division managed to prevail in a nationwide tender, mainly due to the good experience in the previous cooperation.
As the official security partner, Klüh Security provides the security and crowd control services in the Vonovia Ruhrstadion and in the VIP areas at all home matches and other events. Among other things, this includes admission controls, supervision in the fan blocks, the securing of escape and emergency routes, and service activities. Depending on the match day and the size of the event, up to 800 employees are deployed.

In order to ensure the smooth running of all events and the safety of the stadium guests, Klüh’s security staff are perfectly prepared for their deployment areas in seminars and workshops held at the company’s own academy and security school. The e-learning programme “DigiLearn”, which has already received the Comenius EduMedia Award several times over, offers an innovative and contemporary supplement to traditional classroom teaching in order to convey conduct and processes on the one hand, and site-specific procedures in the stadium on the other.
