Düsseldorf, 12.04.2022 – Starting immediately, the multi-service provider Klüh will be responsible for catering, cleaning and services at the Saale hospital in Calbe, near Magdeburg. The hospital has 108 beds on four wards and cares for around 2,100 inpatients per year with about 140 employees.
The services provided by the, in total, 25 Klüh colleagues include catering for patients, staff and guests in the cafeteria as well as conference services and the support of special events. A high-convenience service has been agreed with fresh snacks including salads, filled rolls as well as muesli and yoghurt to go in sustainable packaging. Guests of the cafeteria can use the Klüh catering app with numerous functions including a food configurator, a pre-order function and online payment. In addition to catering services, Klüh also provides cleaning and other services for the hospital. These include maintenance cleaning, preparation of beds and reception services.
“Klüh qualified for the contract due to an outstanding concept and sound company information. The decisive factor which ultimately clinched the award was the attractive pricing, coupled with a convincing performance promise,” explains Gabriele Lang, Head of Administration at the Saale hospital in Calbe. The contract is set to run until January 2024 and is automatically extended by one year.
The Saale hospital in Calbe is part of the Medicover family - a leading international provider of healthcare and diagnostic services which was founded in 1995. Underlying diseases of the digestive system, the cardiovascular system, infections and metabolic disorders are also treated here.
