Klüh’s Smart Service concept wins German Innovation Award 2024

The multi-service provider Klüh is among the exclusive group of winners of the German Innovation Award 2024. Klüh has won the category “Information Technologies | Industry Specific and Service Software” of the competition class “Excellence in Business to Business” with its Eco System for Smart Services

The application platform combines an in-house customer service portal, business intelligence reporting, Internet of Things framework and service-specific digital solutions. It thus provides for efficient, resource-saving processes, smooth communication and individualised services in real time. Possible usage scenarios include service-on-demand, digital route planning and integrated smart waste management. Moreover, the data collected on building use and utilisation under the heading Smart Building can provide valuable information for sustainability strategies. The platform incorporates all touchpoints between the facility management and the service providers, from order management to target monitoring.

“With our in-house development Eco System for Smart Services we are the only provider on the market to offer a solution of this complexity. I am therefore delighted by the German Innovation Award and the recognition from the independent jury of experts. I wish to thank my entire team for making this success possible”, says Felix Fiedler, Head of IT & Center of Digital Excellence at Klüh Multiservices.

Initiated by the German Bundestag in 2018 and conferred by the German Design Council, the German Innovation Award recognises products and solutions from all sectors that demonstrate particular innovative strength and specific added value. The winners are selected by an independent, interdisciplinary jury of experts from industry, science, institutions and the financial sector. The award is presented in two competition classes, which consist of several categories. It is open to companies from all sectors of the economy as well as non-commercial and state organisations from around the world.
