Klüh Security adds mobile video surveillance to its service portfolio

Klüh Security, a subsidiary of the Klüh Group, has now expanded its service portfolio to include mobile video surveillance. With its own agile video surveillance units, the security division of the multi-service provider Klüh is thus able to protect its customers even better against unauthorised access, theft and vandalism.

Using the easy-to-install and flexible security solution, both temporary risk zones such as concerts, events and construction sites, as well as permanent locations such as car parks, solar and wind farms and commercial premises can be comprehensively monitored in real time. The functions include intrusion and loitering detection, early smoke and fire detection, identification of abandoned objects, number plate recognition, person and vehicle counting, car park and parking space monitoring, detection of personal protective equipment as well as time-lapse images for construction site documentation and continuous recording. High-resolution cameras and artificial intelligence detect potential risks at an early stage. The decisive factor here is the integration into the connected alarm centre, where all movements detected on the premises under surveillance are checked.

Common causes for false alarms are first filtered out with the aid of AI-based analysis technology, then everything else is checked in more detail by expert employees from Klüh Security. In case of a justified alarm, the offenders are addressed by an announcement and an acoustic alarm signal is triggered. In most cases, this is already enough to deter unauthorised persons. If not, the alarm centre triggers a predefined alarm chain up to and including intervention by a security guard. Afterwards, all security-relevant processes such as the frequency of alarms triggered, the response time and the duration of the deployments triggered can be seen in comprehensive reports in the web app.

A further advantage of Klüh’s video surveillance units is that, since they are equipped with a 4G connection, they do not require a Wi-Fi or Internet connection on the part of the customer. Likewise, no direct power connection is required, as the units also work as a battery-powered solution with a solar panel.

“Our mobile video surveillance solution creates the conditions for seamless surveillance of large areas without high personnel requirements”, says Sven Horstmann, Managing Director at Klüh Security GmbH. In times when, due to increased material prices and ongoing supply bottlenecks, building materials and machinery are becoming a genuinely precious resource, this is increasingly important.
