Klüh on a sustainable growth trajectory with turnover of 923 million euros

In its annual report for 2022, Klüh Service Management GmbH has posted the biggest turnover in the company’s 111-year history: 923 million euros. This represents a year-on-year increase of 13.4% for the international Klüh Group. The main contributions to this growth came from the Cleaning division (up by 44.8 million euros), the Catering division (up by 24 million euros) and the Clinic Service division (up by 22 million euros). The Security division also reported a good result, raising turnover by more than 6 million euros or 3.7% compared with 2021.

 

Sustainable success based on smart processes and products

Frank Theobald, Management Board Chairman: “In 2022, we were able to continue growing our outstanding performance as a provider of high-quality infrastructure services by leveraging the transformational power and interaction of digitalisation and sustainability. As an agile company, we also demonstrated that we are able to keep pace with change and help drive innovation.” Innovative developments can be found in all of Klüh’s divisions and a new business development strategy is fostering a culture of innovation throughout the company. The goal is to develop new business models, run pilot projects with clients and extend the existing service portfolio.

The company has also set out on a path of structured sustainability. “We have established a new organisational unit to ensure the implementation of our sustainability strategy,” says Christian Frank, Managing Director of the holding company. “It comprises competence teams from Cleaning, Catering, Security, Purchasing, Administration, Marketing and Quality Management.” The Klüh sustainability path is flanked by company-wide sustainability management in the form of guidelines, sustainable corporate governance and specific targets and measures.

 

Innovation and sustainability also characterise Klüh’s successful international companies

The international business contributed 235 million euros, or 25.5%, to total turnover of the Klüh Group, an increase of 21.3% from the 2021 figure of 194 million euros. Personnel, security, hygiene and infrastructure services accounted for turnover growth on the basis of superior service level agreements.
