The Düsseldorf-based family company Klüh is now a member of the “Digital City Düsseldorf”. The interest group is the central contact point of the information and communication technology sector for the economic region of Düsseldorf and networks the industries of the future in the digital economy with the traditional sectors. 

More than 250 companies from the Düsseldorf area have teamed up within the network in recent years. They share their experiences and the latest information from the sector at events such as the “Digitalks”, collaborate on projects or forge business contacts. Klüh’s membership of the group therefore gives it the opportunity to expand its network at the company location and provides it with a platform to take an even more active part in the digital transformation. 

“The topic of innovation is also a decisive factor for growth and positive development for us in the company. In this context, it is clear that the issue of digital transformation is particularly important. We are therefore delighted to be able to address this important issue together with partners in the association and to benefit from synergies”, says Frank Theobald, Chairman of the Management Board of Klüh Multiservices.

Klüh was quick to recognise that digital transformation can only be successful if it is comprehensively planned and initiated on a cross-company basis. In 2018, this insight led to the establishment of the Centre of Digital Excellence (CoDE) as a central unit within the Klüh Group. The CoDE coordinates the interdisciplinary development of digital innovations and launches them on the market. 

The basis for digital services and solutions from Klüh is the Eco System for Smart Services.The application platform combines a customer service portal, business intelligence reporting, an Internet of Things framework and service-specific digital solutions. It thus provides for efficient, resource-saving processes, smooth communication and individualised services in real time.
