At an early stage, Josef Klüh identified India as a key market for the future on the basis of the dramatic annual growth rates of more than 20% in facility management and up to 30% in the security sector.

The basis for Klüh's business operations in India was the establishment of S.R. Buildestate Pvt. Ltd. in 2008. Headquartered in Gurugram close to New Delhi, the company focuses on providing technical facility management and cleaning services.

SRB Klüh also has branches in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi.

The company gained a foothold in various markets back in 2010 and has attracted well-known companies such as Motorola, Procter & Gamble and Symbol Technologies as clients. It was also able to enter the residential market with the provision of cleaning and maintenance services. Among the new clients in 2010 were gyms, hotels, hospitals, sports stadiums, private clubs and public transportation providers.
