The bookshop chain Hugendubel has once again commissioned the Cleaning division of the multi-service provider Klüh with various cleaning services in Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Dortmund, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart. Klüh Cleaning was awarded the contract, which now has an indefinite term, in the course of a new call for tenders. The cleaning specialist was able to win through with an offer that was again convincingly cost-effective, and based on the positive experience gained throughout the years of collaboration since 2020.

Under the contract, Klüh Cleaning will be deploying around 100 employees to clean some 73,300 square metres at a total of 87 shops, offices and warehouses. The service spectrum includes a wide range of tasks such as maintenance cleaning and glass cleaning as well as winter services and doormat services in the colder months. 

Klüh Cleaning is already a partner for many major customers with a large number of branches. These include banks, bookshops, DIY stores and grocery retailers. With nine establishments in Germany and further regional offices, Klüh Cleaning has created an optimum structure for providing cleaning services for branches throughout Germany. They have a “single point of contact”, i.e. a single key account management for customer support: invoicing, documentation, defect tracking and reporting are centralised.

With over 90 shops and 500 shop-in-shops throughout Germany, Hugendubel.de, eBook.de and the wholesale business Hugendubel Fachinformationen, Hugendubel is one of Germany’s largest owner-managed booksellers. Founded in Munich in 1893, the family business is now in its 5th generation and employs around 1,600 people throughout Germany.
