Klüh signs Climate Pact of the state capital Düsseldorf

The Düsseldorf-based family business Klüh is now a climate partner of the alliance “Düsseldorfer Klimapakt mit der Wirtschaft” (Düsseldorf Climate Pact with Business). The cooperation network with the goal of reaching climate neutrality by 2035 was founded by the NRW state capital together with the Düsseldorf Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Düsseldorf Chamber of Crafts and the Düsseldorf District Craftsmen’s Association.

By signing, the multi-service provider is once again taking on responsibility and making a voluntary commitment to continuously reduce its energy and resource consumption until it achieves its target of CO2 neutrality by 2035. Along the path to this goal, progress will be monitored on a regular basis. In return, the company gains access to the co-operation network. The information, advice, promotion, networking and communication offers of the Düsseldorf Climate Pact help Klüh to plan and implement its climate protection strategy on a sound knowledge base.

Christian Frank, Managing Director: “For Klüh, sustainability has already been a strategic corporate objective for decades. As a value-orientated family business, we take a comprehensive approach to our sustainability strategy and continuously develop it further. By signing the Climate Pact, we have pledged our commitment to our city and make an active contribution to achieving the goal of climate neutrality in Düsseldorf by 2035.”

Thomas Keßeler, Head of Sustainability: “For Klüh, sustainability is far more than just a trend - it is an essential component of all company processes. In this context, it is clear that the issue of climate protection is particularly important. So we are especially pleased to now be addressing this important topic together with our partners in the cooperation network of the Düsseldorf Climate Pact.”
